# What to use instead of TabTrader

TabTrader, the mobile multi-exchange crypto terminal, is gone — domain dark, apps off both stores. Five catalogue tools for the phone, the chart and the ticket.

A phone-first crypto terminal with charts, alerts, watchlists, a portfolio and order entry on exchange accounts connected by API key, free to start with a yearly PRO plan.

## Replacements

*Ordered by how much of the original’s job each one covers, closest first. Paid placement does not affect this order.*

1. [Altrady](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/altrady.md) — The nearest whole replacement — one login over 19 exchanges on iOS, Android, web and desktop, with smart orders, alerts and a portfolio. From 28 euros a month.
2. [Coinigy](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/coinigy.md) — The same old shape on iOS and Android, with 38 venues charted, 13 traded and a free Starter tier. No release since December 2024.
3. [TradingView](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/tradingview.md) — The chart, the watchlists and the alerts on every phone, free to start. Orders reach only the exchanges integrated into its Trade panel.
4. [Tealstreet](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/tealstreet.md) — Free and multi-venue like TabTrader's free tier, paid for by the exchanges, with keys kept on your machine. Derivatives-first, and no phone app.
5. [Insilico Terminal](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/insilico-terminal.md) — A free browser order ticket on fourteen-odd venues, with chase, scale and TWAP orders. No alerts, no screener and no phone app.

## The product

TabTrader was a crypto terminal built for the phone first. You connected exchange accounts by API
key and got live charts, order books, watchlists, alerts, a portfolio across accounts and order
entry on each venue, synced between the Android app, the iOS app and a web terminal. The home page
as captured on 14 May 2026 sold it as "Real-time charts, smart alerts, and seamless trading in one
crypto terminal", free to start with no card. Its exchange strip linked twenty-one venues:
Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, Kraken, KuCoin, Bitget, Gate, MEXC, BitMEX, Bitfinex, Bitstamp,
Gemini, Huobi and WhiteBIT, plus a tail of older and regional spot venues: Poloniex, HitBTC, EXMO,
Indodax, Mercado Bitcoin and NovaDAX.

The price was the other reason people stayed. The PRO page, captured on 19 April 2026, listed a
free plan with one API key, ten alerts and two watchlists, **PRO at 50 dollars a year** with 15
keys and 1,000 alerts, and **ULTRA at 110 dollars a year** with 30 keys and 5,000 alerts. PRO could
be paid through the app stores or in crypto on Solana, including TTT, the vendor's own token. There was a
Solana wallet in the app too, the TabTrader Wallet, with DEX trading on top of it.

In February 2025 Trader Acquisition Corp., an affiliate of Echo Base Holdings, announced that it
had bought TabTrader's assets, operations and staff. The press release went out through Chainwire
on 20 February 2025.

**It is gone, and nobody has said so in public.** On 24 October 2026 the domain is still registered,
to 2030, but tabtrader.com and app.tabtrader.com return no address at all. The Google Play listing
returns 404, and Apple's lookup for the iOS app returns no results. The last Internet Archive
capture of the working home page is from 14 May 2026, and the last of any page, a blog post, is
from 17 June.

**The date on this page comes from a secondary source, and you should weigh it as one.** We found no
announcement, status page or post from TabTrader or its owner. The date is 21 August 2026, from an
email to paid subscribers quoted by BitcoinWorld on 23 August: "TabTrader will permanently cease
operations at 1:00 PM UTC on August 21, 2026." The same report says many users got it less than
two hours before the cutoff, and that the company's X account was deleted. On 24 October
2026 X still reported no user at @tabtraderpro. We have not seen the email.

## What to use instead

**Nothing here is TabTrader again.** What it combined was a native app on both phones, a long list
of venues and a price near zero, and every replacement gives up at least one of those. Decide which
one you used it for, and read the picks in that light.

**If you want the whole workspace back on your phone,** [Altrady](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/altrady) is the closest.
It runs on iOS, Android, web and desktop. It has a chart with the ticket on it, Smart Orders with
up to ten take-profit levels and a stop that can trail, alerts, a portfolio and scanners, over
nineteen exchanges. The trade-off is price and plan limits. Basic is 28 euros a month, or 20
billed annually, for three exchanges, five accounts and 50 alerts. That is roughly five times
what TabTrader PRO cost, for a narrower allowance than PRO's fifteen keys.

**If you want the old shape and a free tier,** [Coinigy](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/coinigy) is one of the oldest products
in the category, with help-centre articles going back to 2018. It has iOS and Android apps, charts on 38 venues,
order entry on 13 and a portfolio built from your keys. Starter is free. Pro Trader, at 18.66
dollars a month, is the tier with alerts. Read its card before you move, though. The changelog
stops on 17 December 2024 and the mobile app three months later, and its thirteen tradable venues
lean old.

**If what you mostly did was watch charts and wait for alerts,** [TradingView](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/tradingview)
does that on every phone and desktop, free on its Basic tier, and its crypto data costs nothing on
any plan. It is a charting platform, not a terminal over your keys. Orders go only through the
brokers and exchanges integrated into its Trade panel. If your venue is not there, you see the
chart in one app and trade in another.

**If you traded derivatives and want it free,** [Tealstreet](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/tealstreet) is a no-subscription
terminal over twenty-two live venues, paid for by the exchanges through referral and broker deals.
It has a TradingView chart with order entry, a DOM and hotkeys. Version 3 keeps your keys on your
machine. It has no iOS or Android app, and the web app in a phone browser is the vendor's answer.
[Insilico Terminal](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/insilico-terminal) is free on the same model. It is a browser order
ticket over fourteen-odd venues, with chase, scale, swarm and TWAP orders and a command line. It
has no alert engine and no screener. For the three terminals side by side, see
[Altrady vs Coinigy vs Tealstreet](https://cryptomarkets.tools/compare/altrady-vs-coinigy-vs-tealstreet).

The rest of the field is on [trading terminals](https://cryptomarkets.tools/categories/trading-terminals).

## What you give up

**The price.** Fifty dollars a year bought fifteen exchange keys and a thousand alerts in a native
app. Nothing here matches that. The free options (Tealstreet, Insilico, TradingView Basic, Coinigy
Starter) each drop something: the phone app, the alerts or the order ticket. The paid ones with
native apps start at 18.66 dollars a month for Coinigy and 28 euros for Altrady. The free terminals
cost nothing because the exchanges pay them. [Who pays for your free trading
bot](https://cryptomarkets.tools/guides/who-pays-for-your-free-trading-bot) explains that model, and it applies to terminals
as well.

**A native app with real order entry.** Of the five picks, only Altrady and Coinigy put a full
multi-exchange ticket in an iOS or Android app. TradingView's app trades only through its
integrated venues, and Tealstreet and Insilico are browser-only.

**The long tail of venues.** TabTrader still linked EXMO, Indodax, WhiteBIT, Gemini and Bitstamp in
May 2026. Altrady's nineteen include Poloniex and HitBTC but none of those five. Coinigy's thirteen
tradable venues skew towards old spot exchanges too, but its list has not been maintained. If you
traded on a regional exchange, check that venue on the card before anything else. It decides the
choice more than any feature does.

**The wallet and the token.** TabTrader put a Solana wallet, DEX orders and its own token in the
same app as the exchange terminal. This catalogue does not list wallets, so nothing on this page
replaces that half, deliberately.

## Migration notes

**Revoke every TabTrader API key at every exchange, today.** Nobody is answering for the servers
those keys were stored on, and the domain still belongs to someone. A key you revoke cannot be
used. Connect the new terminal with new keys, withdrawals off, and an IP whitelist where the
exchange offers one. [What your API key lets a bot do](https://cryptomarkets.tools/guides/what-your-api-key-lets-a-bot-do)
goes through the permissions venue by venue.

**Check each exchange for orders and positions you have forgotten.** A plain limit or stop order
TabTrader sent is resting on the exchange and will still fill. Anything that lived only on
TabTrader's side, such as an alert, stopped on 21 August. The pages we could read do not say which
of its advanced order types were held by the exchange and which by TabTrader. Open each venue's own
order list and look, rather than assuming.

**Rebuild watchlists and alerts by hand.** There is no export to recover them from now. Each
product here counts alerts differently: per tier on Altrady and TradingView, while Coinigy's
free Starter has none. A layout of a hundred alerts can be a plan decision on its own.

**Take your trade history from the exchanges, not from a terminal.** Whatever TabTrader showed you
came from the venues' own APIs, and they still have it. [Export exchange trade
history](https://cryptomarkets.tools/how-to/export-exchange-trade-history) covers the routes and their depth limits. For one
view of balances across venues and a wallet, see [track a portfolio across exchanges and a
wallet](https://cryptomarkets.tools/how-to/track-a-portfolio-across-exchanges-and-a-wallet).

**Import a TabTrader Wallet carefully.** The help centre's import steps told users to pick "the
first account or the one with a balance". Another wallet can derive a different account from the
same 12 words and show you an empty balance. That is a different account, not missing funds. Try
the other accounts before you panic.

## FAQ

### Did TabTrader shut down, and when?

Yes, by every check we could make. On 24 October 2026 tabtrader.com and app.tabtrader.com returned no address, the Google Play listing returned 404 and Apple's lookup returned no app. The date, 21 August 2026 at 1:00 PM UTC, comes from an email to paid subscribers that BitcoinWorld quoted on 23 August. We have not seen the email.

### Did TabTrader publish an announcement?

None that we could find. The site went dark with the service, the last Internet Archive capture of the working site is from June 2026, and BitcoinWorld reported on 23 August 2026 that no statement had come from the company or its owners beyond the email to subscribers.

### I paid for TabTrader PRO. Can I get money back?

BitcoinWorld reported that the subscriber email offered refunds of the unused prepaid part, and that many were paid. The PRO page itself, archived in April 2026, said TabTrader gave no direct refunds and pointed app-store buyers to the store. A store purchase is the store's to refund; check it is not still renewing.

### What happens to coins in the TabTrader Wallet?

They are on the Solana chain, not inside TabTrader. Its help centre, archived in October 2025, described a 12-word recovery phrase, and that phrase is what reaches the funds from another Solana wallet. Wallets are outside this catalogue, so we name none.

### Are the TabTrader Telegram channels still official?

Treat them as not. The old site listed tabtrader_en as its Telegram contact, but on 24 October 2026 both channels open with "Channel created" on 4 September 2026, after the shutdown, followed by posts on 22 September and 5 October asking visitors to verify a wallet. Nothing ties the new channels to the company.
