# Hosted crypto bot plan calculator

Which plan on each hosted bot platform your set-up needs, and what it costs a month and a year, from your own bot counts, positions, accounts and markets.

*https://cryptomarkets.tools/calculators/hosted-bot-plan · next to Crypto Trading Bots*

**Answer:** Enter how many DCA, grid and signal bots you run at once, your open positions, the markets one bot trades, how many exchanges and accounts, and whether you need futures. The calculator checks each plan ladder on 3Commas, Bitsgap, Cryptohopper, HaasOnline, OctoBot Cloud and WunderTrading against its published limits and returns the cheapest plan that fits, priced monthly and annually, or the limit no plan meets. Coinrule is named and left out.

The calculator itself is interactive at https://cryptomarkets.tools/calculators/hosted-bot-plan. These are the figures it multiplies, each with the document it was read from:

## Rates

| Rate | Value |
| --- | --- |
| 3Commas, what the plan meters | bots per type (DCA, signal, grid), open positions and active API keys per exchange; futures from Pro |
| 3Commas Starter, price | $20 a month billed monthly; $180 a year billed annually ($15 a month) |
| 3Commas Starter, limits | DCA bots: 5; Grid bots: 2; Signal or TradingView-alert bots: 2; open positions: 500; exchanges: not stated (the pricing page contradicts itself: the Starter card says "Core bots for spot trading at 1 exchange" while the "All plans include" list says "9 exchanges", and the help centre does not say which holds); accounts on one exchange: 1; futures: no (spot only) |
| 3Commas Pro, price | $50 a month billed monthly; $456 a year billed annually ($38 a month) |
| 3Commas Pro, limits | DCA bots: 20; Grid bots: 10; Signal or TradingView-alert bots: 20; open positions: 1,000; exchanges: 9; accounts on one exchange: 5; futures: yes |
| 3Commas Expert, price | $140 a month billed monthly; $1,260 a year billed annually ($105 a month) |

| 3Commas, note | A free plan exists (an expired subscription drops to it) but the pricing page does not show it or its limits, so it is not in the ladder. |
| 3Commas, note | An API key counts once however many markets (spot, margin, futures) it trades on. |
| 3Commas, source | [3Commas pricing](https://3commas.io/pricing), read 2026-10-09 |
| Bitsgap, what the plan meters | active bots per family: grid (GRID, BTD, COMBO) and DCA (DCA, LOOP, QFL, DCA futures); futures bots from Advanced |
| Bitsgap Free, price | free |
| Bitsgap Free, limits | DCA bots: none (the free plan runs bots in demo mode only, apart from three COMBO bots on Evedex); Grid bots: none (the free plan runs bots in demo mode only, apart from three COMBO bots on Evedex); Signal or TradingView-alert bots: none (no webhook, TradingView alert or API input on any plan); futures: no (only the three COMBO bots on Evedex) |
| Bitsgap Basic, price | $29 a month billed monthly; $276 a year billed annually ($23 a month) |
| Bitsgap Basic, limits | DCA bots: 10; Grid bots: 3; Signal or TradingView-alert bots: none (no webhook, TradingView alert or API input on any plan); futures: no (no futures bots on Basic) |
| Bitsgap Advanced, price | $69 a month billed monthly; $660 a year billed annually ($55 a month) |

| Bitsgap Pro, price | $149 a month billed monthly; $1,428 a year billed annually ($119 a month) |
| Bitsgap Pro, limits | DCA bots: 250; Grid bots: 50; Signal or TradingView-alert bots: none (no webhook, TradingView alert or API input on any plan); futures: yes |
| Bitsgap, note | Each paid plan also carries COMBO bots on Evedex (3, 10, 50), counted against that one venue only and not modelled. |
| Bitsgap, note | The page displays Australian dollars as an estimate; it charges in US dollars. |
| Bitsgap, source | [Bitsgap plans and pricing](https://bitsgap.com/pricing), read 2026-10-08; that no plan accepts webhook or TradingView signals from the card, verified 2026-09-21 |
| Cryptohopper, what the plan meters | one bot per subscription; the tier sets how many markets it scans and how many positions it holds (N bots are N subscriptions) |
| Cryptohopper Explorer, price | $29 a month billed monthly; $289.92 a year billed annually ($24.16 a month) |
| Cryptohopper Explorer, limits | DCA bots: the one bot can be this type; Grid bots: none (no grid bot among the bot types the pricing page lists (manual, copy, trading, market making, two arbitrage bots)); Signal or TradingView-alert bots: the one bot can be this type; bots in all: 1; open positions: 80; markets one bot scans: 15; futures: no (spot only on every tier) |
| Cryptohopper Adventurer, price | $69 a month billed monthly; $690 a year billed annually ($57.50 a month) |
| Cryptohopper Adventurer, limits | DCA bots: the one bot can be this type; Grid bots: none (no grid bot among the bot types the pricing page lists (manual, copy, trading, market making, two arbitrage bots)); Signal or TradingView-alert bots: the one bot can be this type; bots in all: 1; open positions: 200; markets one bot scans: 50; futures: no (spot only on every tier) |
| Cryptohopper Hero, price | $129 a month billed monthly; $1,290 a year billed annually ($107.50 a month) |
| Cryptohopper Hero, limits | DCA bots: the one bot can be this type; Grid bots: none (no grid bot among the bot types the pricing page lists (manual, copy, trading, market making, two arbitrage bots)); Signal or TradingView-alert bots: the one bot can be this type; bots in all: 1; open positions: 500; markets one bot scans: 75; futures: no (spot only on every tier) |
| Cryptohopper, note | A DCA or TradingView-alert strategy runs on the one trading bot a subscription includes; a second bot is a second subscription. |
| Cryptohopper, note | Open positions: the plan cards print them per exchange, while the comparison table and the subscriptions help page give the same figures as what one bot holds at once; neither says what per exchange adds to a one-bot subscription. The free Pioneer plan automates nothing and is not on the pricing page. |
| Cryptohopper, note | The plan cards also list 10, 25 and 65 Portfolio/Manual bots. The vendor does not define them or say whether they count against the one trading bot, so they are printed, not modelled. |
| Cryptohopper, source | [Cryptohopper pricing](https://www.cryptohopper.com/pricing), read 2026-10-09; that no tier trades futures or perpetuals from the card, verified 2026-09-20 |
| HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud, what the plan meters | trade bots in all, of any type, and open orders per bot; every exchange, spot and futures, on every plan |

| HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud Starter, limits | bots in all: 3; exchanges: 24; futures: yes; open orders per bot: 15 (printed, not checked) |
| HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud Standard, price | $49.99 a month billed monthly; $503.88 a year billed annually ($41.99 a month) |
| HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud Standard, limits | bots in all: 8; exchanges: 24; futures: yes; open orders per bot: 25 (printed, not checked) |
| HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud Pro, price | $99.99 a month billed monthly; $1,007.88 a year billed annually ($83.99 a month) |
| HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud Pro, limits | bots in all: 20; exchanges: 24; futures: yes; open orders per bot: 50 (printed, not checked) |
| HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud, note | Open orders per bot are capped (15, 25, 50) and a grid bot holds one order per level; the form does not ask for grid levels, so this cap is printed, not checked. |
| HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud, note | A year paid once in Bitcoin costs 143.93, 359.93 and 719.93; card billing is what is modelled. |
| HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud, note | The self-hosted TradeServer plan is a different edition and is not priced here. |

| OctoBot Cloud Pro, price | $29.99 a month billed monthly; $311.88 a year billed annually ($25.99 a month) |
| OctoBot Cloud Pro, limits | bots in all: 30; futures: yes |
| OctoBot Cloud, note | The FAQ on the same page says "up to 20 simultaneous OctoBots", which matches neither 10 nor 30; the plan table is used. |
| OctoBot Cloud, note | Futures run on two venues only, Binance Futures and KuCoin Futures. |
| OctoBot Cloud, source | [OctoBot Cloud plans and pricing](https://www.octobot.cloud/en/pricing), read 2026-10-08; the annual prices (95.88 and 311.88 a year; the page rendered only its monthly tab) from the card, verified 2026-09-19 |
| WunderTrading, what the plan meters | bots per type (signal, DCA, grid), open positions and API accounts per exchange; futures on every plan |
| WunderTrading Free, price | free |
| WunderTrading Free, limits | DCA bots: 1; Grid bots: 1; Signal or TradingView-alert bots: 1; open positions: 50; accounts on one exchange: 10; futures: yes |

| WunderTrading Pro, price | $49 a month billed monthly; $444 a year billed annually ($37 a month) |
| WunderTrading Pro, limits | DCA bots: 100; Grid bots: 20; Signal or TradingView-alert bots: 50; open positions: 1,000; accounts on one exchange: 50; futures: yes |
| WunderTrading Premium, price | $99 a month billed monthly; $900 a year billed annually ($75 a month) |
| WunderTrading Premium, limits | DCA bots: 300; Grid bots: 200; Signal or TradingView-alert bots: unlimited; open positions: 2,000; accounts on one exchange: unlimited; futures: yes |
| WunderTrading, note | Accounts trading on Hyperliquid get Premium with no subscription and pay a 0.035% builder fee on each trade instead. |
| WunderTrading, note | Monthly prices are the dollar figures in the page's own structured data; annual prices are its 12-month dollar figures as served outside Turkey. The page sets the currency by location and sells annual billing as "up to 25% off", which in dollars is about 21% on Basic and 24% on Pro and Premium; the lira page takes 25% off, so a local price does not convert. |
| WunderTrading, source | [WunderTrading pricing](https://wundertrading.com/en/pricing), read 2026-10-09 |
| Coinrule | not modelled — Coinrule Cloud bills credits on top of the plan, at 0.02 dollars each over the allowance, spent per condition, watched market per day, trade and AI parse, so the monthly bill depends on activity rather than on bot counts; the legacy app caps rules and monthly traded volume, and neither has DCA, grid or signal bot types to count ([Coinrule Cloud pricing](https://cloud.coinrule.com/pricing), read 2026-10-08) |
| Assumption, year | 12 months of monthly billing, or the annual per-month price times 12 |
| Assumption, Cryptohopper positions | split evenly across bots, rounded up |

## What it computes

Your set-up, priced on six plan ladders. The set-up is what you would write down before opening
any pricing page: how many DCA, grid and signal bots run at the same time, how many positions are
open at once, how many markets a single bot trades, how many exchanges and how many accounts on
the busiest one, and whether any of it is futures or perpetuals. The calculator walks each
platform's plans from the cheapest up and stops at the first one whose published limits the
set-up does not exceed.

That is the paragraph on the [trading bots](https://cryptomarkets.tools/categories/trading-bots) page about headline prices
turned into arithmetic. The platforms meter three different things. [3Commas](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/3commas) and
[WunderTrading](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/wundertrading) count bots per type, with open positions and accounts per
exchange alongside. [Bitsgap](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/bitsgap) counts bots per family — grid bots, which include BTD
and COMBO, and DCA bots, which include LOOP and QFL. [HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/haasonline)
and [OctoBot Cloud](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/octobot-cloud) count bots in all, whatever their type. And
[Cryptohopper](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/cryptohopper) sells one bot per subscription and meters how hard it works,
so several bots are several subscriptions, each at the tier one bot's share of the markets and
positions needs.

For each platform the row gives the plan, its price billed monthly and over a year of monthly
billing, and its price billed annually as the yearly charge and its monthly equivalent. Where no
plan fits, the row says which limit fails even on the largest plan — a bot type the platform does
not have, futures it does not offer, a count above its ceiling. The plans passed over on the way,
and the reason each was passed over, are listed under it.

The default set-up is three DCA bots and two grid bots, twenty open positions, one account, spot
only. It fits the first or second rung of five ladders, each for a different reason, and fails
the sixth, which has no grid bot.

## Where the numbers come from

Every price and every limit is read from the vendor's own pricing page on 8 October 2026, and the
table prints each page beside its figures. Three figures the pricing pages did not show that day
come from our cards instead, each with the card's verification date: Bitsgap has no webhook or
TradingView input on any plan, Cryptohopper trades no futures or perpetuals on any tier, and
OctoBot Cloud's annual prices, because only the page's monthly tab came through.

Prices are the list prices in the currency each vendor charges, which is US dollars for all six.
Every vendor here prints its annual price as a monthly equivalent; the yearly charge is twelve
times it, and where the page also prints the saving, as 3Commas, Bitsgap and Cryptohopper do, the
two agree.

Where a vendor meters something without stating the figure, or states two figures that disagree,
the limit is not filled in. 3Commas' Starter card says "spot trading at 1 exchange" while the
list of what every plan includes says nine exchanges, so for a set-up on more than one exchange
Starter is shown with that limit marked not modelled rather than passed or failed on it. Where a pricing page sets no plan limit on
something at all — open positions on Bitsgap, HaasOnline or OctoBot Cloud — the row says that it
was not checked.

The figures live in one table that both this form and the page's Markdown twin read, so the twin
prints every limit the form checks, with its document and date.

## What it leaves out

**Coinrule.** Coinrule Cloud charges credits on top of the plan, spent per condition, per watched
market per day, per trade and per AI parse, at two cents a credit over the allowance. The bill is
set by how active the strategies are, not by how many there are, and no form field here measures
that. The legacy Coinrule app caps rules and monthly traded volume instead. Neither has DCA, grid
or signal bot types to count. See the [Coinrule](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/coinrule) card.

**Whether your exchange is supported.** Each platform supports its own list, between eight venues
on OctoBot Cloud and about two dozen on HaasOnline, and a plan that fits is no use on a venue the
platform does not connect to. The cards carry each list. Futures are narrower still: OctoBot Cloud
trades them on two venues only.

**Futures availability by region.** A plan that includes futures cannot give you access the
exchange withholds from your country, and several exchanges restrict derivatives by residence.

**Exchange fees and anything charged per trade.** The calculator prices the subscription and
nothing else. Trading fees go to the exchange. WunderTrading offers its Premium plan with no
subscription on Hyperliquid in exchange for a 0.035% builder fee on every trade, a cost that
scales with volume and that the form does not price; the [perpetual holding cost
calculator](https://cryptomarkets.tools/calculators/perpetual-holding-cost) does.

**Trials, free months and promotions.** Seven-day trials on 3Commas, Bitsgap, HaasOnline and
WunderTrading, Cryptohopper's three days, OctoBot Cloud's trial that its own page gives as both
seven and fourteen days, coupons, lifetime deals and any price outside the published list price.
HaasOnline's year paid once in Bitcoin, 40% below the monthly card rate, is printed but not
priced. VAT is not added.

**Free plans that are not on the pricing page.** 3Commas' free plan exists but publishes no limits,
and Cryptohopper's Pioneer plan automates nothing. Bitsgap's free plan and every paid plan also
include COMBO bots on Evedex, a single venue, which are not counted.

**Limits the form does not ask about.** Open orders per bot on HaasOnline (15, 25 and 50), which a
grid bot with many levels can exceed; the strategy scan interval and the number of trading
triggers on Cryptohopper; backtest depth everywhere; and the higher, quoted tiers above each
ladder. WunderTrading's page prices by location; the dollar figures used here were read on
9 October 2026 and a reader elsewhere may see another currency.

**Positions spread across Cryptohopper subscriptions.** The calculator splits your open positions
evenly across your bots, rounded up, and checks one bot's share against one tier. If one bot
carries most of the positions, that bot needs a higher tier than the rest.

For which kind of meter suits which kind of set-up, see

## FAQ

### Why does the same set-up land on a free plan on one platform and a paid one on another?

Because the platforms count different things. WunderTrading and 3Commas cap each bot type separately, Bitsgap caps families of bot types, HaasOnline and OctoBot Cloud cap bots in all, and Cryptohopper sells one bot per subscription. Three DCA bots is inside one ladder's entry tier and three subscriptions on another.

### Why does Cryptohopper show several subscriptions?

Its pricing table gives one bot on every tier, and its FAQ says a single subscription gives a single bot and a single paper-trading bot. A second bot is a second subscription, so the calculator multiplies the tier price by the number of bots you enter.

### Why does WunderTrading's annual discount differ from the page's "up to 25% off"?

The page prices by where it is read from. Read in dollars on 9 October 2026, the 12-month rates are 15, 37 and 75 a month against 19, 49 and 99 monthly, a 21 to 24 percent saving; only the lira price is a full 25 percent off. The calculator uses the dollar figures the vendor publishes, never a converted one.

### Does a plan that fits mean the bots will run?

It means no limit the vendor publishes stops them. Whether your exchange is supported, whether futures are offered where you live, and limits the vendor does not print are outside the check, and the row lists which limits were not checked.
