## What it is

The free derivatives screen that most of this market has open in a tab — funding rates, open
interest, long/short ratios, liquidation history and the liquidation heatmap the company is known
for, across the large futures venues, on public URLs that need no account.

This is the terminal, not the feed. CoinGlass sells a data API under its own price list and its own
audience; that is a separate card at [CoinGlass API](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/coinglass). The line between them is
drawn by the vendor rather than by us — the Prime checkout says outright that API access is not
included and sends API buyers to a different page.

What the terminal covers has widened well past derivatives. There is an options section with open
interest by strike and by expiry, max pain, a net premium strike heatmap and an Option Greeks table;
a Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-balance ranking; ETF flow pages; a derivatives exchange ranking with
taker and maker fees and a house score; a public real-time feed of open-interest anomalies; and,
since some time before this reading, a US stock section covering Nasdaq, NYSE and AMEX. Charts live
under Supercharts; a newer product called Legend sits on its own subdomain and is labelled NEW in
the navigation.

## Pricing

Two figures matter, and neither is the API price list.

The site is free. Without logging in you get the funding, open interest, long/short, liquidation
history, options and exchange-balance pages, and the alert feed. An account adds saved watchlists.

**Prime is $28 a month**, $78 billed quarterly and $268 billed annually — the annual rate works out
at about $22.33 a month, and the page prints "Pay Annually & Save 20%". Subscriptions are
non-refundable; the page says so above the buttons rather than in a policy link.

What Prime buys, at the time of writing, is one feature made whole. The vendor's own FAQ is unusually
direct about it: without Prime the liquidation heatmap supports BTC and ETH only, with 6-month and
12-month views, and does not refresh automatically. Prime opens the heatmap to all coins, adds
24-month and longer ranges, and refreshes it for you. Everything else on the page is listed as
coming soon.

## Data & coverage

**Three liquidation heatmap models, named and not explained.** The catalogue lists Liquidation
Heatmap, Liquidation Heatmap (Model 2) and Liquidation Heatmap (Model 3), plus a liquidation map, a
liquidation history heatmap, a top liquidation events page and a Hyperliquid-specific liquidation
map. Which model is which, and which one a screenshot came from, is not documented anywhere the
reader can see. Prime unlocks all three; the free version gives all three for BTC and ETH.

**Options are better served here than in the company's API.** The web has an Option Greeks table for
BTC and ETH on Deribit, an options/futures open-interest ratio, open interest by strike and by
expiry, volume by strike and by expiration, max pain and a net premium strike heatmap. Anyone who
read the API card and concluded CoinGlass has no Greeks should note that the conclusion is about the
API.

**Not all of it is crypto any more.** The stock section carries US equities across three exchanges
with their own sentiment gauge and gainers list, and the crypto tables themselves now carry
tokenized-equity and commodity perpetual symbols — SNDK, SPCX, SKHYNIX, XAU — beside the coins. If
you are evaluating this as a crypto-only screen, a growing part of the navigation is not that.

**Chain data is thin and specific.** The Bitcoin exchange-balance table is the on-chain part: coins
held per exchange with 24-hour, 7-day and 30-day changes. There is no address-level wallet tracking
on the web terminal.

## Integrations

There is an API, priced and documented separately, and a first-party MCP server that belongs to it
and takes an API key. Neither is part of what this card describes; both are on the API card.

From the terminal itself, the integrations are the ordinary ones — an account, saved watchlists, a
public alert stream, iOS and Android apps. The apps are free with no in-app purchases, and Prime does
not reach them yet: the vendor says Prime heatmap features are web-only and app support is planned.

## Limitations

- **Prime is one feature today.** $28 a month buys coin coverage, longer ranges and auto-refresh on
the liquidation heatmap. The vendor's FAQ says the core functionality is otherwise the same and
lists everything else as coming soon. Decide against that, not against the phrase "premium
  subscription plan".
- **Prime does not work in the mobile apps.** Web only, by the vendor's own answer, with app support
  "under active planning".
- **Prime is non-refundable**, stated on the checkout page.
- **The three heatmap models are undocumented.** Three names, no published difference, no statement
of which one the default chart draws. A level you publish from one of them is a level you cannot
fully explain, and that is a problem for anyone quoting it.
- **Paying for Prime buys you nothing programmatic.** The checkout says API access is not included.
The cheapest API key is a separate $35 a month, which is more than Prime costs.
- **A growing share of the navigation is not crypto.** US equities, tokenized stock perps and gold
  now sit alongside the coins.
- **The free heatmap is two assets.** Anyone who arrived from a screenshot of an altcoin heatmap will
find that view is the paid one.

## Alternatives

The other free derivatives screens in this category cover much the same ground and differ on the
edges rather than the middle — venue lists, how much sits behind a login, and whether the order-flow
layer costs extra. The rest of them are under
[crypto charting platforms](https://cryptomarkets.tools/categories/charting-platforms).

If what you want is the numbers rather than the screen, the purchase is the
[CoinGlass API](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/coinglass), and it is priced for a different buyer.

The closest free rival by name is [CoinAnk](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/coinank), which covers much the same funding,
open-interest and liquidation ground and sells a prediction layer beside it — read that card's
Limitations before taking any of its directional modules at face value.

## FAQ

### Is CoinGlass free?

The web terminal is, and without an account — funding, open interest, long/short, liquidation history, options open interest, exchange rankings and Bitcoin exchange balances are all on public URLs. Two things are not free. Prime, at $28 a month, unlocks the liquidation heatmap beyond BTC and ETH, and the API is a separate subscription starting at $35 a month.

### What does CoinGlass Prime actually add?

One feature, at the time of writing. Prime widens the liquidation heatmap from BTC and ETH to all coins, adds 24-month and longer ranges to the existing 6- and 12-month ones, and refreshes the chart automatically instead of making you reload. The vendor's own FAQ says the core functionality is the same and lists more features as coming.

### Does a Prime subscription include API access?

No, and the checkout says so in as many words before you pay — API access is not included and API buyers are pointed at a different page. They are two products with two price lists; Prime starts at $28 a month and the cheapest API key is $35.

### Does CoinGlass show option Greeks?

On the website, yes — there is an Option Greeks table for BTC and ETH on Deribit, alongside max pain, open interest by strike and by expiry, and a net premium strike heatmap. This is one of the few places the web terminal is ahead of the company's own API, which publishes aggregate options figures and no Greeks at all.
