Order-book heatmaps, footprints and Hyperliquid liquidation levels in a browser.

**Best for:** order-flow traders who want order-book heatmaps, footprints and Hyperliquid liquidation levels in a browser across many venues; not for placing orders, alerts, or history from before a market was recorded.

## What it is

A browser application for watching order flow. The core widget is an order-book heatmap — resting
liquidity at each price drawn as colour behind the candles — with [footprint](https://cryptomarkets.tools/glossary/footprint-chart)
volumes printed on the candles when you zoom in and a volume profile at the side; around it sit a
live order book, an aggregated book, a trade-and-liquidation tape, a ticker, a watchlist and a depth
chart, arranged as widgets on boards you lay out yourself. Markets can be shown one at a time,
compared side by side, or aggregated where they are compatible.

The homepage puts the point of the product in one example: "A heatmap alone can't tell a pulled wall
from a filled one. The footprint can." That is the job — seeing whether liquidity on the book traded
or was withdrawn — and nothing else on the page sells anything beyond it. There is no order entry.

**Hyperliquid is the one venue where it shows positions.** Because Hyperliquid publishes positions,
liquidation prices and take-profit and stop-loss orders on its chain, TapeSurf draws them as levels.
The homepage says plainly that maps built only from public CEX data "are estimates", because
centralised venues publish none of this.

It was called Okotoki until the rename: okotoki.com redirects to tapesurf.com, and the terms of
service name OKOTOKI LLC as the company behind the TapeSurf platform.

## Pricing

In US dollars, from the pricing page and its structured data, read on 23 October 2026. The page
opens on annual billing.

- **Free** — one layout, every indicator, 2,500 bars of history. The order book, aggregated book,
heatmap, Hyperliquid levels and tape are marked "limited to major spot markets", and the page's
structured data names them: "ETH and DOGE spot markets".
- **Pro** — 35 a month, or 299 a year (shown as 25 a month). All markets including derivatives,
unlimited layouts, full chart history, Hyperliquid levels on every market.
- **Enterprise** — "from $999" through sales, with custom functions, custom exchange integrations, a
dedicated server, onboarding and the API. The visible page gives no billing period; the
structured data behind it prices the 999 per year.

Payment is by card or in USDC at checkout. Monthly plans can be refunded within 14 days of the first
payment and not on renewal; yearly plans within 14 days of any payment, renewals included. Creators
with an audience get Pro free for two months and keep it while three people subscribe through their
link.

## Data & coverage

**Thirteen venues in the plan matrix**: Binance, Coinbase, Kraken and Bitfinex (the four on the free
plan's spot markets), plus Binance Futures, OKX, Bybit, Hyperliquid, Aster, Lighter, HTX, Bitstamp
and Deribit. The homepage counts 12 — "12 venues. 1,698 assets. 10,279 markets." — so one of the
two is out of date. Spot, perpetuals and dated futures; the homepage also counts tokenized stocks,
commodities, indices and FX traded as crypto markets on those venues.

**History starts when recording did.** TapeSurf records order-book updates, trades, liquidations,
funding and open interest from every venue, and the homepage says outright that "history starts
when recording of a market began; nothing before that is backfilled". A market listed last month has
a month of heatmap, whatever the plan pays for. The guides do not say how often the book is sampled
for the heatmap.

## Integrations

The API is an Enterprise feature and is not documented in public. There is no webhook, no alert
system in the Learn guides and no export path in them.

## Limitations

- **Watch only.** No order entry, no exchange connection, no alerts in the published guides.
- **The free plan is two coins.** Every order-flow widget on the free plan is limited to major spot
markets, which the page's own markup names as ETH and DOGE; it is a demonstration rather than a
  working setup.
- **No backfill.** History depth on any market is the time TapeSurf has been recording it.
- **Liquidation levels are real on one venue.** Only Hyperliquid's are read from published
positions; anything inferred for a centralised exchange is, by the vendor's own homepage, an
  estimate.
- **The venue count depends on which page you read** — 13 in the pricing matrix, 12 on the homepage.

## Alternatives

[TensorCharts](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/tensorcharts) is a cheaper browser heatmap, 18 dollars a month, on four spot
venues. [AGGR](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/aggr) merges live trades and liquidations from 25 exchanges, free and
open source, without a book heatmap. [Bookmap](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/bookmap) and [Exocharts](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/exocharts) add
order entry, compared with ATAS in [Bookmap vs ATAS vs Exocharts](https://cryptomarkets.tools/compare/bookmap-vs-atas-vs-exocharts).
[OpenMarket](https://cryptomarkets.tools/tools/openmarket) is free across 29 venues and places Hyperliquid orders from the
chart.

## FAQ

### Is TapeSurf the same as Okotoki?

Yes. okotoki.com redirects to tapesurf.com, the page's structured data lists Okotoki as the product's alternate name, and the terms of service name OKOTOKI LLC as the company providing the service through the TapeSurf platform.

### What does the TapeSurf free plan include?

One layout, every indicator and 2,500 bars of chart history, with the live order book, aggregated book, heatmap, tape and Hyperliquid levels limited to major spot markets. The pricing page's structured data names those as ETH and DOGE spot. Derivatives, other markets and full history need Pro.

### How far back does TapeSurf history go?

To the moment TapeSurf started recording that market and no further. The homepage says history starts when recording of a market began and nothing before that is backfilled, so a newly listed pair, or a venue added recently, has a short history whatever the plan.

### Can I trade from TapeSurf?

No. TapeSurf is a charting and order-flow application with no order entry and no exchange keys. It shows Hyperliquid's public positions, liquidation prices and take-profit and stop-loss orders, which are read from the chain rather than estimated.
