# Tiger.com Windows

Windows footprint and DOM terminal whose free crypto licence Binance commission funds.

**Best for:** crypto scalpers on Windows who want footprint charts, a dynamic DOM and order entry on several exchanges without a licence fee; not for Mac users, strategy automation or a Binance account opened through someone else's referral.

## What it is

A Windows desktop terminal for order-flow trading: candlestick and fully configurable
[footprint](https://cryptomarkets.tools/glossary/footprint-chart) charts, a dynamic DOM with a trade chart and clusters beside
it, volume profiles and cluster search, a trade log with a results chart, and a Player that replays
recorded market data at the speed you choose. Orders go in from the chart or the DOM, against your
own exchange accounts over API keys. The paid Full licence is for stocks, futures and forex — CME,
the US equity exchanges and Moscow Exchange among them; crypto is the half it gives away.

It was sold as Tiger.Trade until the rename. tiger.trade answers with a redirect to tiger.com, the
help centre and the indicator examples still say "Tiger.Trade" in places, and the C# indicator
source sits in a `TigerTrade` namespace.

**Three products share the brand, and this card is one of them.** Tiger.com Windows is the
terminal. Tiger.com macOS is a separate app on its own site, built on TradingView charts. Tiger.com
Broker is a broker account with KYC that routes Binance and Bybit orders at reduced fees, and
TigerX is a connector to Binance and OKX that runs through the broker's infrastructure with keys
issued by the broker. Both of those are a funded account at a venue by another name, and the
catalogue does not list them; they appear below only where they change what the terminal costs.

## Pricing

In US dollars, from the prices page read on 23 October 2026. Registration gives every account a
free lifetime Crypto licence and a 14-day trial of the Full licence.

- **Crypto — free, lifetime.** Crypto markets only, live trading and demo trading on live data,
  no History Player.
- **Full — 79 a month**, 178 for three months, 579 for twelve, 1,500 for a lifetime licence. Adds
the stock, futures, options and forex connections — SMARTcom, QUIK, MetaTrader 5, Rithmic,
TRANSAQ, GAIN Capital (OEC) and Interactive Brokers TWS — and the History Player.
- **History Player — 25 a month.** Replay only, no live data and no trading. You need it only on
  the Crypto licence.

**On Binance, the free licence is paid for by the exchange.** The help centre's page on using the Crypto
licence with Binance says it in one sentence: by trading in the terminal you support its
development, "as Binance will return a portion of the commission to Tiger.com in the form of
brokerage fees from your trading commissions." That is the arrangement described in
[who pays for your free trading bot](https://cryptomarkets.tools/guides/who-pays-for-your-free-trading-bot), and it has a
condition attached.

**A Binance account opened through somebody else's referral link gets spot only.** The same page
says a referred account can trade spot on the free licence and nothing else; the licence FAQ puts
it more bluntly — with a referral account you "will not be able to trade in Binance" on the free
licence. The prices page's comparison row agrees: "Binance referral program support — only Spot" on
Crypto. The vendor's two ways round it are to buy the Full licence or to open a Tiger.com Broker
account. The Binance connection guide adds a third wording of the rule: "to use the Tiger.com
terminal for free, log in with your Tiger.com Broker account credentials", and referral accounts
and accounts of other brokers "are not supported". The licence pages do not say a broker login is
needed; the connection guide does.

**The trial is not a crypto trial.** The licence page in the help centre says the 14-day trial
has historical data limited to the last ten days and that "no crypto exchange connections are
available with a trial license". Crypto runs on the free licence from day one, so the trial
matters only for the non-crypto connections.

## Data & coverage

**Fourteen crypto venues can trade and five more are view-only**, by the help centre's connection
list on 23 October 2026 read against the release notes: Binance (spot, margin, USDⓈ-M and COIN-M
futures, with Binance Alpha view-only), Bybit, OKX, Bitfinex, Bitget, Gate.io, MEXC, KuCoin, Kraken,
BingX and Backpack, plus three decentralised venues — Hyperliquid, AsterDEX and Lighter. Coinbase,
Weex, XT and Phoenix are labelled view-only, and so is Upbit by the version 7.2 notes, though the
list does not label it.

**The vendor's own counts do not agree with that list or with each other.** The free-licence blurb
on the prices page promises "seven cryptocurrency exchanges" and names five — Binance, Bybit,
Bitfinex, Deribit and OKX. Deribit is on the prices page and has no connection guide in the help
centre. The product page's own block reads "Connections 14". The trading-modes page still says six
crypto exchanges and seven terminals.

**Every exchange can be watched without keys.** Since version 7.2 each connector has a view-only
mode that reads public WebSocket and REST feeds, so charts, depth and the tape load with no exchange
account at all. Trading needs keys. Chart data is the exchange's own; there is no separate
market-data subscription for crypto.

**Hyperliquid wants your seed phrase or a builder fee.** The setup guide's main route has you type
the wallet's seed phrase into the terminal's connection form — "fast seed phrase authentication",
in the 7.2 notes. The alternative uses a Hyperliquid API wallet key plus a signed builder-fee
approval allowing up to 0.02% per order. The deeper private order book on Hyperliquid is offered
only through a Tiger.com Broker connection with a balance of at least 500 dollars. Lighter trading
"requires Builder API authorization" by the 7.3 notes.

Three trading modes: Real, Simulator (five internal demo accounts on live data, no leverage) and
Player (recorded data, Full or History Player licence).

## Integrations

Custom indicators and drawing objects are written in C#; the help centre publishes the source of
the built-in Delta, Cumulative Delta, VWAP, volume-profile, open-interest and other indicators as
examples. Indicators can raise alerts.

The "Tiger API" is not a data or order API. It is a local WebSocket server inside the terminal, on
port 7819 by default, that lets an outside program such as a screener open a symbol in a linked
window group. Nothing reads Tiger.com's data out, and nothing places orders through it.

## Limitations

- **Windows only, and a heavy install.** Windows 10 64-bit or later, with 16 GB of RAM and 80 GB
of disk recommended. The macOS app is a different product.
- **A free licence with a condition the headline does not print.** Binance trading beyond spot
needs an account with no referral on it, or a paid licence, or a broker account with KYC.
- **Seed phrase into a desktop app.** The main Hyperliquid route asks for the wallet's recovery
phrase, which controls every asset on that wallet, not a trading key scoped to one venue; the 7.2
notes name AsterDEX for the same seed-phrase input. The API-wallet route avoids that and costs a builder fee of up to 0.02% per order.
- **No automation.** The C# interface covers indicators and chart objects; the help centre
documents no strategy runner, and the Player is replay for practice, not a backtester.
- **The documentation contradicts itself on counts and conditions** — seven exchanges or five,
Deribit or not, broker login or not, a trial with crypto or without. The connection list is the
one that matches the release notes.
- **No dated release history.** The help centre's release notes run to version 7.3 and carry no
dates, so how recently the terminal changed cannot be read from the vendor's pages.

## FAQ

### Is Tiger.com Windows free for crypto?

The Crypto licence is free for life and covers crypto markets only. It is paid for by the exchange rather than by you — the vendor's own help page says Binance "will return a portion of the commission to Tiger.com" from your trading fees. On Binance that works only for an account registered without a referral link; a referred account trades spot only unless you buy the Full licence.

### Is Tiger.Trade the same product as Tiger.com?

Yes. tiger.trade now redirects to tiger.com, and the desktop terminal formerly sold as Tiger.Trade is Tiger.com Windows. Its indicator source code still uses the TigerTrade namespace.

### Does Tiger.com run on a Mac?

Not this product. Tiger.com Windows needs Windows 10 64-bit or later, and the vendor recommends 16 GB of RAM. Tiger.com macOS is a separate app on its own site, built on TradingView charts, and is not described on this card.

### How does Tiger.com connect to Hyperliquid?

Two ways in the vendor's guide. The first has you type your wallet's seed phrase into the terminal's connection form. The second uses a Hyperliquid API wallet key and a builder-fee approval that lets Tiger.com charge up to 0.02% per order. Either way the funds stay on Hyperliquid in your own account.
