## What it is

A database of token supply schedules: when locked tokens are released, to whom, and how much
supply that adds. The core is the unlock calendar. It covers cliff unlocks as dated events and
linear vesting as a daily emission rate, broken down by allocation group, such as team,
investors, ecosystem and treasury. Around it sit burns, buybacks, fundraising rounds per token and
per investor, and on-chain claims. The homepage claims 500-plus tokens. The pricing matrix's CSV
row says 600-plus.

This is the product formerly called TokenUnlocks. The old token.unlocks.app address redirects to
tokenomist.ai, and Wayback captures show the redirect in place from November 2024. The company
behind it is DaoSurv Pte. Ltd., which the footer and the API terms still name.

It is bought by anyone who needs to know the next change to a token's float before it happens:
an analyst modelling dilution, a fund adding unlock dates to a risk calendar, a developer putting
an unlock countdown on a token page. It records the schedule. What a reader makes of a release
is not on the page, and it is not this card's business either.

## Pricing

Four self-serve plans and an enterprise one, read off the pricing page on 4 October 2026. **The
page opens on annual billing**, so the large figures are annual rates divided by twelve. The
Stripe price objects embedded in the page give the month-to-month rates, which is what the tiers
above hold.

- **Free** costs nothing and has no API. It shows three historical and one future unlock event per
token, vesting charts at monthly resolution, one month of emissions, a basic filter, screeners
for the top four tokens, and three alerts firing at most ten times a week. Group allocation,
release mechanism, burn and buyback, on-chain claims and fundraising are all "No".
- **Pro** is $99 a month, or $828 a year ($69/month). The monthly figure is the Pro Tier's
monthly Stripe price object in the page, and it matches the annual plan's own "full price" of
$99 and its "Save up to $360". Pro opens every dataset on the web: all historical unlock events and two years ahead,
daily vesting resolution, four years of emissions, 20 alerts and 50 firings a week, and CSV
exports. It also includes the API at 1,000 calls a month, with one year back and one year
forward of unlock events at second-level timestamps. The fundraising and burn/buyback API
  endpoints are not included.
- **Standard API** is $749.95 a month, $1,499.85 a quarter or $2,999.40 a year ($249.95/month on
annual). It has 50,000 calls a month, two years back and two forward, the fundraising and
burn/buyback endpoints, and unlimited alerts with 100 firings a week.
- **Elite API** is $999.95 a month, $2,099.85 a quarter or $5,399.40 a year ($449.95/month). It has
500,000 calls a month and three years back and three forward.
- **Enterprise** is a custom package through the consulting address, for other timeframes,
  datasets or commercial terms.

The discount for committing is unusually steep. Standard costs two thirds less per month on annual
billing than month to month. A banner on the day of reading also offered 10% off any plan until 31
October.

Payment is by card. The FAQ also offers a one-time crypto payment in SOL, ETH or USDC for a
month, a quarter or a year, which does not renew. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the
billing period.

**No self-serve plan carries a commercial licence.** The matrix row "Commercial License" reads
"No" in all four columns, including the two API plans the page markets to "Liquid funds and
Investment Firms". The API terms, last updated 30 May 2024, grant a licence "solely for your
personal or non-commercial use". Anyone putting this data in front of their own customers needs
the enterprise conversation.

## Data & coverage

The listing methodology is a mix of manual research and AI-assisted extraction. A token needs a
verifiable vesting or release schedule, from docs, announcements or contracts, and enough market
presence. The docs say listing priority is "determined internally". Human listings are
cross-checked against on-chain data. AI-assisted listings are reviewed before publication.

Each schedule carries two labels, and they are the most useful thing on the page:

- **Assumption**, which says where the schedule came from. The options are public project data
verified on-chain, public project data alone, a vesting contract, private data from the team,
or Tokenomist's own inference from on-chain behaviour.
- **Precision**, which says how exact the timing is: second, block, hour, day, week, month, or "to
be determined". The last of these has its own methodology page, under the name TBD Locked
  supply.

A schedule labelled "inferred on-chain" with month precision is a different claim from one read
off a vesting contract to the second. The labels let a reader tell the two apart.

The data-update policy is a deliberate freeze, and it is worth knowing before relying on a date.
For unlocks worth more than $10 million, Tokenomist contacts the project a month ahead. Inside 14
days of a scheduled unlock, it will not apply a change sourced privately from the project, or an
ambiguous one. Those wait until 7 to 14 days after the unlock. New public information and
corrections to an existing source are applied as soon as possible, which takes two to three
business days. Unlocks under $10 million are corrected as soon as an error is found. So the date
on the page close to an unlock can knowingly lag what the team has said in private.

## Integrations

**REST API**, now at v5, under `api.tokenomist.ai` with an `x-api-key` header. It returned 401
without one on 4 October 2026. Endpoints cover the token list, allocations, daily emission,
unlock events, upcoming unlocks, token fundraising, investors, burns and buybacks. Older versions
back to v1 are still documented. Every response carries a `credit` block with `used`, `limit` and
`resetAt`. The quota is **per account, shared across all keys**. It resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st
of each month, and only successful requests count against it. Two separate limits, a short-term
rate limit and the monthly quota, both return 429. The docs warn that the 429 message wording has
changed, so a client should match on the status code.

**MCP server**, hosted at `mcp.tokenomist.ai` over streamable HTTP and authorised by OAuth 2.1. A
Tokenomist API key is used once in the browser sign-in, so it needs a plan that carries the API.
It exposes sixteen read-only data tools and a separate set of self-listing tools that can create
and submit a project's listing drafts. It answered an unauthenticated request with 401 on 4
October 2026.

**CLI**, `tok`, installed from npm as `@tokenomist-ai/tokenomist-cli`. It needs Node 18 and an API
key, and the docs link a public source repository.

**Alerts** go to Telegram through the vendor's bot. There are no webhooks.

## Limitations

- **No API on the free plan, and no commercial licence on any self-serve one.** The cheapest
programmatic access is $99 a month for 1,000 calls, for internal use only.
- **API history is capped by plan.** Pro gets one year back of unlock events, Standard two and
Elite three. The web plans show all of history, so the API returns less than the same
  subscriber sees on screen.
- **A schedule is only as good as its source label.** Inferred and privately sourced schedules sit
next to contract-read ones, and the freeze policy means a late private change is not reflected
  until after the unlock.
- **Coverage is curated, not exhaustive.** A token without a published schedule is not listed, and
listing priority is the vendor's call.

## FAQ

### Is Tokenomist the same as TokenUnlocks?

Yes. The old token.unlocks.app address redirects to tokenomist.ai, and Wayback captures show the redirect in place from November 2024. The product, the unlock dashboard and the API carried on under the new name. The company behind it is DaoSurv, which still appears in the footer and in the API terms.

### Does Tokenomist have a free API?

No. The pricing matrix gives the Free plan no API calls at all, and the documentation says API access comes with Pro, the API plans and Enterprise. A free trial key is available by application through a form, for an unstated period.

### How much is the Tokenomist API?

The cheapest key comes with Pro, at $99 a month or $828 a year, and it carries 1,000 calls a month. The dedicated API plans are $749.95 a month for 50,000 calls or $999.95 for 500,000, much less on annual billing — $2,999.40 and $5,399.40 a year.

### Can I use Tokenomist data in a commercial product?

Not on a self-serve plan. The pricing matrix marks Commercial License as no on every plan, the paid API tiers included. The API terms, last updated 30 May 2024, grant a licence for personal or non-commercial use. Commercial terms go through the consulting team.

### Does Tokenomist have an MCP server?

Yes, a hosted one at mcp.tokenomist.ai, authorised by OAuth with a Tokenomist API key used once at sign-in. It exposes sixteen read-only data tools for tokens, unlocks, emissions, allocations, fundraising, burns and buybacks, plus a separate set for listing a project's own token. It answered an unauthenticated request with 401 on 4 October 2026.
