Advertising and paid placement
CryptoMarkets.tools catalogues 92 products across 6 categories, for people deciding which exchange to connect to, which feed is worth paying for and whether a backtester knows what a perpetual is. This page is what a vendor should read before asking for a rate, because most of it is about what money does not buy here.
Claiming your listing is free, and always will be
If we have written a card about your product, you can confirm or correct the facts on it at no charge, forever. A claimed card is labelled as claimed, and that label means the vendor has checked the fields — not that they paid for anything. Claim your listing is the form; nothing about it is a sales funnel. Corrections from vendors who never intend to pay us anything are the cheapest accuracy this catalogue gets, and we would rather have them.
What a sponsored listing buys
A label, and a block of your own words. A sponsored card is marked Sponsored wherever it appears, and that badge is the whole of the presentation: a card restyled to shout drowns out the ones beside it that are there on merit. Every sponsorship carries an end date — an undated sponsorship never ends, so the catalogue does not accept one.
You may also supply your own copy. It is stored separately from ours and rendered in its own labelled block headed From the vendor. It is never edited into our description, and our description is never written from it.
What it never buys
- A position in a listing. Cards sort by name, never by tier.
- Inclusion. A tool is catalogued because it belongs in a category, or it is not catalogued.
- A rating, a score, or a badge that implies one.
- Extra fields. Every card fills in the same blocks against the same schema, and a paid card gets no more of them than a free one.
- A place on an alternatives page. Those lists are ordered by a rule that is printed on the page itself, and sponsorship is not part of it.
- Removal of anything unflattering. If a card describes a limitation, the limitation stays; the remedy is to fix the product or to tell us the description is wrong.
- A card written to order. We decide what a card says. You decide whether the facts in it are right.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. Where one exists it is labelled at the link itself rather than only in a footer, and it changes nothing about the card it sits on — the full terms are on the affiliate disclosure page. Switching or dropping an affiliate network changes one field on a card and nothing a reader sees.
Where this stands today
Nothing on this site is sponsored, no card carries an affiliate link, and no listing has been claimed yet. That is worth stating plainly rather than implying otherwise with a rate card: the terms above are the terms we intend to run on, and this paragraph will change the day the first one applies.
The audience is narrow by construction. A catalogue of exchange terms, funding data and backtesters does not collect passers-by — a reader here is choosing what to connect to and what to pay for, and is reading at the point where that choice gets made.
Audience figures and rates are sent on request rather than published, because a number on a page like this one goes stale quietly and a catalogue that lets one number rot has no business publishing 92 cards of them. Ask and you get the current ones.
Getting in touch
The form below asks which of the three you are after — a sponsored listing, our affiliate program, or a free claim — and we reply with the terms and the current numbers. If your product is not catalogued at all yet, submit it first — that is free, and it is not a precondition for anything on this page.
