CoinMarketMan
Futures journal synced from seven venues by read-only key; free on referred accounts.
Best for perpetuals traders on Binance, Bybit, Bitget, BloFin, Phemex, WOO X or Hyperliquid who want fills, fees and funding journalled without typing; not for other venues, or for anyone unwilling to let their trades feed a pooled dataset.

What it is
A web journal for crypto derivatives traders, sold as "Coin Market Manager" and "CMM" as often as CoinMarketMan. You connect exchange accounts with read-only API keys; it imports the trade history, rebuilds closed trades and reports on them. Where imports are switched on, nothing is typed in by hand unless you want to add to it.
What the vendor's feature pages describe, read on 4 November 2026:
- The journal. Imported trades pre-fill journal entries. Each trade takes a thread of notes, with links to your own charts, and free-form tags. A tag report sorts winning and losing trades by tag, so a setup you labelled yourself gets its own results.
- The reports. An overview of average R per trade, average account risk and profit factor, with a warning when the risk taken looks high; breakdowns by trade duration, by position size, by long against short and by time of day; best and worst trades; a performance chart over a chosen range of trades; and what you spent on fees and funding.
- The trade view. Each closed trade drawn with its buys, sells, open and close and its maximum favourable excursion, with the account gain per trade worked out.
- The account side. Balances, deposits and withdrawals across connected exchanges, open positions in one list with aggregated realised and unrealised PnL, and overall PnL in BTC and in fiat.
- A verification page. A public page on a vanity URL showing live account data pulled from the same read-only keys; you choose what it shows, and it needs an existing X account to create. A "Top Traders" leaderboard ranks CMM users by derivatives PnL and by volume, mostly under generated names and some under X handles.
CMM Intelligence is built from other users' accounts. The pricing page lists it on PRO. The only page that describes it is an older one still in the vendor's sitemap but not in its navigation: it shows how connected CMM traders are positioned — long, short or flat — with a 12-hour trend, segments you define by account age, number of trades or profit threshold, a breakdown of spot holdings between stablecoins or fiat and crypto, and alerts on changes. It is a count of positions, not a call; what such a count measures is in what a long/short ratio actually counts. The privacy policy is the other half: data aggregated and anonymised across users goes into "intelligence and insights" and "may be used commercially".
The operator named in the terms and the privacy policy, both dated 21 January 2026, is C M M Software Co LLC of Dubai, which runs HyperTracker under the same legal entity, account system and domain; the security page spells it CMM Software Co LLC. The terms are governed by UAE law, with UAE courts having exclusive jurisdiction.
Pricing
In US dollars, from the pricing page read on 4 November 2026. The page opens on the annual toggle; the monthly prices are the other side of the same switch.
- Basic — free, no card. One exchange account, a portfolio overview, the "Mobile App Companion" and manual journal access. Automated trade imports on Basic are for referred accounts only (below).
- PRO — 69.99 a month or 699.99 a year. One account per supported exchange, unlimited trade imports, journal auto-imports, CMM Intelligence, the verification page, and alerts and notifications.
- ENTERPRISE — 89.99 a month or 899.99 a year. Everything in PRO with an unlimited number of exchange accounts.
The annual price is about 17% below twelve monthly payments on both plans. Both paid plans carry a "Start Free Trial" button with "No card info needed", and the FAQ on the vendor's contact page gives the length: "a 14-day free trial of an enterprise tier CMM account". By the terms, card subscriptions through Stripe are monthly or annual and renew automatically; crypto payments through CoinPayments are annual, one-time and do not renew. There are no automatic refunds: any refund is at the vendor's discretion and ends access at once. Partner landing pages on the vendor's own domain advertise 50% off the paid plans, so the list price is not the only price in circulation.
CMM Unlocked is exchange-funded access. A trading account opened through CoinMarketMan's referral link at one of the supported exchanges gets, by the pricing page, "free, unlimited imports" and "full access to CMM" with no subscription; the contact page's FAQ says less, "access to CMM's best and most important features". The Unlocked page says who pays: "The exchanges reward us, so we can keep building". It is the arrangement described in who pays for your free trading bot, applied to a journal rather than a bot. The pricing page says 90% of CMM users are on it.
The conditions are on the same page. An existing exchange account opened without the link does not qualify; the vendor's two suggestions are to ask the exchange to move the account under its referral, or to open a new account through the link. Every 500,000 USD of cumulative volume on referred accounts, counted from the imported trades, adds 30 days of ENTERPRISE — 3 million USD buys 180 days, by the page's own example. The page calls the free access "lifetime", yet its own FAQ answers "How long does it last?" with "As long as you keep trading!" and the volume rule, and does not say whether that answer is about the free access or the ENTERPRISE bonus. It already carries referral links for all five venues it lists as "coming soon", each captioned "Join now and get ready for CMM integration".
Data & coverage
Seven venues, by the exchange logo row on the home page ("Our Compatible Futures Exchanges"), the pricing page and all three feature pages on 4 November 2026: Binance, Bybit, Bitget, BloFin, Phemex, WOO X and Hyperliquid. The Unlocked page lists Coinbase, OKX, Bitunix, KuCoin and Bybit EU as coming soon. The pages do not agree at the edges: the Tracking & Analytics page's own "Supported Exchanges" row shows six, without Hyperliquid, while at least four partner landing pages on the same domain show an eighth logo, Deribit, and the leaderboard still ranks accounts tagged Deribit. Deribit is on neither the current logo row nor the coming-soon list.
Read-only API keys, and only those, by the security page and the privacy policy, which lists what a key gives the vendor: trade history, positions, balances and orders. How a Hyperliquid account is connected, where there is no exchange login, is not described on the public pages.
Futures is the vendor's word. The home page sells it as a tool "for Crypto Futures" and the footer as a platform for "crypto derivatives traders"; the leaderboard counts "derivative/futures trade data only". Balances are tracked, but spot trades are not journalled: the FAQ says "Journaling for crypto spot trades is on the roadmap", and on-chain swaps are for "a much later date".
"Real time" is the vendor's word too, and nothing here measured it. The FAQ says trades "are streamed to CMM user dashboards in real time", and the pricing page calls the portfolio overview and CMM Intelligence real-time; the terms say "refresh rates" depend on the plan, and no page publishes a sync interval. None of the pages read — home, pricing, the three feature pages, Unlocked, security, contact, terms, privacy and the partner landing pages — describes a CSV import or an export of the journal.
Integrations
There is no public API for the journal: the vendor's documentation site covers only the HyperTracker API. Alerts are a PRO feature; how they are delivered is not on the CMM pages, and the privacy policy it shares with HyperTracker lists Telegram usernames or chat IDs among the data held "if you enable alerts". No page says what the "Mobile App Companion" on the Basic plan is; an App Store search for the product's names on 4 November 2026 returned no app from the vendor, and the site ships a web-app manifest.
Limitations
- Seven venues. An account on any other exchange cannot be imported, and the "coming soon" list carries no dates.
- The free plan's automation depends on the referral. Basic without a referred account is a manual journal; automated imports and the paid features without a subscription both require an exchange account opened through the vendor's link.
- Getting that status may mean a new exchange account. For an account that already exists, the vendor's own fallback is to open another through its link, which means another sign-up at the exchange.
- Your trades go into the pool. The privacy policy permits commercial use of data aggregated across users, and CMM Intelligence is built from it. The policy also says the vendor does not sell individual trading data.
- No documented way out. The public pages describe no export of the journal, the notes or the tags.
- No refunds by right. A refund is at the vendor's discretion and ends access at once.
- No spot journal. Spot trades are "on the roadmap", by the vendor's FAQ.
- The verification page needs an X account. There is no way to publish one without it.
Alternatives
Altrady puts a trade journal inside a trading workspace over many more exchanges, for a trader who wants to place orders in the same window. Tealstreet keeps position history with fees inside a free terminal; CMM's site carries a Tealstreet partner page offering 50% off CMM for life. For other people's Hyperliquid wallets rather than your own fills, the sibling product is HyperTracker. To pull the raw fills yourself, see how to export exchange trade history, and for balances across several venues, how to track a portfolio across exchanges and a wallet.

FAQ
Is CoinMarketMan free?
The Basic plan is — one exchange account, a portfolio overview and a manual journal. Paid plans are PRO at 69.99 USD a month or 699.99 a year and ENTERPRISE at 89.99 a month or 899.99 a year, and the FAQ on the vendor's contact page offers new users a 14-day ENTERPRISE trial. Separately, accounts opened through the vendor's exchange referral links get free imports and, by the pricing page, "full access to CMM" without a subscription, because the exchange pays the vendor instead of you.
What is CMM Unlocked?
Free access for trading accounts opened through CoinMarketMan's referral links at the exchanges it supports. The vendor's page says plainly who pays — "The exchanges reward us". An existing account opened without the link does not qualify. Every 500,000 USD traded on referred accounts adds 30 days of the ENTERPRISE plan.
Which exchanges does CoinMarketMan sync?
Seven, by the exchange logo row on the home, pricing and feature pages on 4 November 2026 — Binance, Bybit, Bitget, BloFin, Phemex, WOO X and Hyperliquid. Coinbase, OKX, Bitunix, KuCoin and Bybit EU are listed as coming soon. The vendor describes the venues as futures exchanges, its FAQ says spot journaling is "on the roadmap", and its leaderboard counts derivatives trades only.
Can CoinMarketMan trade or withdraw from my account?
Not by its own pages. The security page and the privacy policy both say it accepts read-only API keys only, and the privacy policy says it cannot trade, withdraw or modify accounts. It reads trades, positions, balances and orders to build the journal.
Who runs CoinMarketMan?
C M M Software Co LLC of Dubai, which also runs HyperTracker under the same account system and domain. Its terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with UAE courts having exclusive jurisdiction.
