TradeChainly

One-plan crypto journal for seven exchanges, with a read-only Claude and ChatGPT link.

Best for Spot and perpetuals traders on Binance, Bybit, OKX, Kraken, KuCoin, Coinbase or Crypto.com who want fills synced and broken down by setup and mistake; not for DEX traders, whose trades go in by hand.

What it is

A web journal for crypto trades. You connect an exchange with a read-only API key, or upload the exchange's trade-history export, or type trades in, and your closed trades arrive with their fills, timestamps and trading fees. Spot and perpetual futures are normalised into one format, and reports break performance down by symbol, hour, weekday, hold duration, position size, entry price, R-multiple, setup and mistake. Each trade can carry tags, a rating, notes, screenshots, a profit target and a stop, and there is a daily journal and a notebook beside the trade list. Cost basis is FIFO, LIFO or weighted average, set per account.

The buyer is a discretionary trader on one of seven centralised exchanges who wants to see which of their own habits cost money. TradeChainly does not trade, and says so in its FAQ: you place orders on the exchange and the journal reads them afterwards.

The company is TradeChainly LLC. The terms put it under Wyoming law, with offices in Wyoming, and give support@tradechainly.com as the only contact. No street address is published.

The newest part is AI Coach, a connector that lets Claude or ChatGPT read your journal and answer questions about it ("which mistakes cost me the most?"). TradeChainly computes the figures and the assistant reasons over them. Each answer says how many trades it rests on, and the vendor says results under 30 trades are flagged as a small sample and under 10 as anecdotal. The AI Coach page calls it "a thinking partner, not a signal provider", and what it reads is your own history.

The forecasts are a different kind of output, and they are why the card is flagged. The one plan also includes a page the vendor sells as "AI-Driven Forecasts" and a "Powerful Price Forecast". That page projects where a coin's price is heading. It is not the headline: the homepage has opened on "All-in-One Crypto Journal to Find Your Trading Edge" since at least July 2025, with the forecast as one section further down, as it is now. It is not sold separately, because there is nothing else to buy. It drives nothing either, since the product places no orders. This catalogue judged TradeChainly by its journal, and the forecast page is why ai_features reads recommendations here.

Pricing

One plan, the All-in-One Plan: 23.99 USD a month, or 17.99 USD a month "billed in one annual payment". The pricing page opens on the annual toggle. It never prints the yearly total; twelve times 17.99 is 215.88, which is our arithmetic and not a figure the vendor quotes. The toggle says save 20%, and the arithmetic gives 25%.

Everything is in the one plan: unlimited trades, up to 20 accounts, 5 GB of image uploads, every report, AI Coach and the forecasts. The 7-day trial needs no card and includes AI Coach. Payment goes through Stripe, per the privacy policy.

The terms are strict on refunds. All payments are final "except as expressly required by applicable law", with no refund for an unused period, for dissatisfaction or for forgetting to cancel before renewal. A cancellation runs to the end of the period you have paid for. The terms also allow price changes on 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Data & coverage

Seven exchanges sync automatically: Binance, Bybit, Coinbase, Crypto.com, Kraken, KuCoin and OKX. Each one also takes a file upload or manual entry. Each exchange's setup page names what it covers: spot and USD-M futures on Binance, spot and USD-M contracts on KuCoin, spot and derivatives on Coinbase, and spot and futures on the other four. The exchanges page's FAQ says spot and perpetual futures. For a venue not on the list, a DEX included, the FAQ's answer is manual entry. No wallet or on-chain import appears on any vendor page or in the app's code.

How far back a sync reaches depends on the exchange and the market. The app's code sets the earliest sync start date per pair: 1 January 2018 for spot on Binance, Coinbase, Crypto.com, Kraken and KuCoin, and for futures on Coinbase and Kraken; 2021 for Crypto.com futures; about two years back on Bybit and one year on OKX, both markets; and only six months for Binance futures and three months for KuCoin futures. Older trades have to come in by file, and the Binance page warns that each export covers a limited date range.

Fees are deducted per fill, in the vendor's words, so the P&L is net of trading fees. Funding is another matter (see Limitations).

TradeChainly supplies no market-data feed of its own. Its app code embeds TradingView's chart widget for a trade's symbol, and the forecast page lists symbols by their Binance pair.

Sync is the exchange's history, read on a schedule the vendor does not publish. The exchange pages say new trades flow in "automatically" and "in the background", and give no interval. The app's code shows each connection with a last sync, a next sync and a manual-sync button on a cooldown.

Integrations

AI Coach, a first-party MCP server by every sign visible without an account. The vendor's public pages never use the word MCP; they say "connector". In Claude you add a custom connector, and in ChatGPT you turn on developer mode and add an entry. Either way you paste a server URL issued inside the app and approve access on TradeChainly. The app's JavaScript setup steps tell you to paste it into Claude's "Remote MCP server URL" field. On 4 November 2026 api.tradechainly.com/mcp answered an unauthenticated initialize request with 401 and a pointer to OAuth metadata, while a fabricated path on the same host returned 404. That metadata names the endpoint and a third-party authorisation server. Nothing past the 401 was seen, so the tools it exposes are known only from the vendor's description. Access is read-only and granted per account: trades, reports, tags, notes, setups and mistakes, with no way to place a trade or change the journal, by the vendor's description. Team and Enterprise Claude workspaces may need an admin to allow custom connectors first.

Export. The app's trade list has a CSV export. The pricing page calls the same feature Download/Export to Excel.

No public API and no webhooks are documented on any vendor page read for this card. The only API host in the app's code is the one the web app itself talks to.

Limitations

  • The forecast page is a directional call, and the card is flagged for it. The app's code describes a per-coin page where two models, named Aurora and Sentinel, each draw a predicted price line after the historical one, 25 to 100 bars ahead on 5-minute to 1-hour bars. Beside each line sit a trend marked bullish, bearish or neutral, an average percentage change, a volatility figure, a cumulative return in dollars, a "Concentration Price" (the level the price is predicted to spend most time at) and a maximum drawdown for the forecast period. The page's own caption reads "Plan your future trades with data-driven forecasts". The features page says "See where prices are headed" and calls the forecasts accurate. The terms call them "strictly informational", from "proprietary models for educational purposes only", and reserve the right to add or remove forecast models at will. No method, inputs or track record is published. This card has not seen the page run: what it emits is read from the app's code and the vendor's pages. Treat it as somebody else's opinion and the journal as the record.
  • Whether funding is imported is unconfirmed. The exchanges page, all seven exchange pages, the AI Coach page and the app's JavaScript mention trading fees per fill and never funding. The blog says two things. A post of 28 April 2026 says that in TradeChainly "funding lives next to every position, not hidden in an exchange statement". A post of 26 May 2026 says only that the product lets you "tag and review fee and funding impacts". The product pages are the ones the vendor has to keep current. On a perpetuals position held across funding times, the P&L may leave out a cost the exchange charged. Check one of your own trades during the trial.
  • The exchanges page compares nothing. Its grid gives all seven exchanges the same cells: spot, futures, auto sync, file upload, manual entry, fiat-to-crypto, all pairs. What differs is on the individual exchange pages and in the sync lookback above, which ranges from back to 2018 down to three months.
  • The trade count has a limit the pricing page does not show. The pricing page says the number of trades is unlimited. The app's code has a sync status for "exceeding the trade limit for this account", telling you to start a new sync under another account or remove trades. No figure is given anywhere we looked.
  • No refunds unless the law requires one. The trial is the only way to try it before paying.
  • The privacy policy does not mention AI Coach. Its sharing section covers service providers, legal requests, a sale of the business, and information you choose to share. The AI Coach page says your data goes only to the assistant you connected. Neither page says what happens to it once Claude or ChatGPT has it.
  • Little public evidence of use. No user count is published. The homepage testimonials are handles and first names. The blog ran about two posts a week from 3 February to 24 July 2026 (50 posts) and has posted nothing since. Product work did continue: AI Coach, absent from the homepage captured on 8 April 2026, is live now, and its endpoint answered on 4 November 2026. The web app's current JavaScript bundle, which contains AI Coach, carries a Last-Modified date of 4 October 2026 from its storage origin. The copyright line in the terms reads 2025.
  • Web only. No iOS app turned up in an App Store search on 4 November 2026, and no other app is linked from the site.

Alternatives

A journal is also a tab inside some terminals, bought for the trading screen rather than the review. Altrady keeps a trade journal beside its order ticket, scanners and bots, and can import exchange history to backfill it. In Tealstreet, a perpetuals terminal, the position history serves as a journal with fees. TradeChainly is the journal alone, with nothing to trade from. The full list is under crypto trading journals.

FAQ

How much does TradeChainly cost?

There is one plan. It is 23.99 USD month to month, or 17.99 USD a month billed in one annual payment, which the pricing page shows first. The page prints no yearly total; twelve times 17.99 is 215.88. A 7-day trial needs no card. The terms make payments non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, so the trial is the only way to try it without paying.

Does TradeChainly sell trading signals?

Not as a product, but the one plan includes a price-forecast page. The vendor calls it AI-driven forecasts and a powerful price forecast, and its terms call it a strictly informational forecasting feature for educational purposes. Going by the app's code, two models project a coin 25 to 100 bars ahead on 5-minute to 1-hour bars. This catalogue lists TradeChainly for its journal and flags the card for the forecasts.

Can TradeChainly place trades or withdraw from my exchange?

No, by the vendor's own description. Exchanges connect with read-only API keys, and the Binance setup guide says to leave the key's default permissions untouched. The AI Coach connector is read-only too, and the vendor says it cannot place trades, move funds or edit the journal.

Does TradeChainly have an MCP server?

Yes, on the evidence available without an account, although the vendor's public pages never use the word. AI Coach is added to Claude as a custom connector, or to ChatGPT in developer mode, and the app's setup steps say to paste its URL into Claude's Remote MCP server URL field. On 4 November 2026 that endpoint answered an unauthenticated request with 401 and pointed to OAuth metadata, while a made-up path on the same host returned 404. Its tools were not seen.

Does TradeChainly include funding payments in P&L?

Unconfirmed, and the vendor's pages disagree. The product pages and the app's own code mention trading fees deducted per fill and never funding. A blog post from 28 April 2026 says funding "lives next to every position" in TradeChainly, and one from 26 May 2026 says only that you can tag and review its impact. Check one of your own perpetuals trades during the trial.
